These days i'm trying to draw everyday to train the hand and not lose the habit during the holidays. One of my design problems has always been the haste. I always start to draw very calm and towards the end of the work i start to have anxiety and i lose the patience,so i begin to sketch lines at random,trying to finish the draw as soon as possible and in this way i always end up ruining my projects. To avoid this i often don't finish my plans. I need to be able to manage my disquiet at work and try to be more serene. But how?

Yesterday I was so anxious because I didn't have a book to read and finally I found what I was looking for : Umi no futa (Italian translation : Il coperchio del mare), written by Banana Yoshimoto. She's absolutely one of my favorites comtemporary writers. I don't know if this book has already been translated in English because i can't find the English name of the book...However,personally i think it isn't as good as her other books, but reading it was nice the same.
